True Autonomy. True Universal Credit.

It's a new season... The celtic new year began on 1st November as they believed that the beginning starts with the descent into darkness, just like putting the seed into the earth, which makes practical sense to me.

And benefits which have sustained me as a fledgling sole-trader (God bless The Gov!), are also now essentially withdrawn because I am earning enough to sustain myself apparently, thus...

I am an independent entrepreneur!

According to investopedia.com:

"Entrepreneur" is a French word probably coined by the economist Jean-Baptiste Say from the word "entreprendre", which is usually translated as "undertaker" or "adventurer".

And yes, I'd agree, I am an adventurer who is living on the edge, trusting in the provision of "God" if I can remain calm and cultivate a mind of faith - utterly liberating and exciting! And possibly how the USA became so abundant?!

I have been learning how to apply "the gospel" to my work - surrendered to "His Great Plan", believing the sky is the limit, using the talents that I have been gifted with to make the world a better place and getting paid respectfully for it - The Royal (Christmas) Road!!!

It hasn't always been exciting - when I first started out I was often moved to tears by the worry of ends meeting; I remember going to the Job Centre and there was no life, light or will to help me but then after praying for a sign I had the insight to set up the Goodwill Cafe and found profound work with a number of clients! And then after a while, when wonderful solutions kept coming along at just the right time, I developed an incredible peace and faith in life...

"overcoming insecurity of tomorrow

All will be provided, I throw away sorrow"

These are words taken from my "Faith Zone" song which is derived from the wisdom of Moses according to business coach, John C Maxwell in his book "Running with Giants".

So as long as I regularly take the time to cultivate peace and stillness (and go out for walks in nature), intentionally put God at the centre of my life and surrender to His Great Plan, the subtle Kaleidoscope of Life can keep shifting into beautiful patterns and I am given the ideas, signs, resources and clients to keep flourishing...

"That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,

which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither

whatever they do prospers" - Psalm 1:3

True autonomy! True Universal Credit.

Imagine how this knowledge could help people who hate their work or who believe they have to do corrupt things to earn a living!!!
