Riding the Wave of Enthusiasm

If we want to be free then we must be disciplined and so as an autonomous "soulpreneur" I aim to be productive between the boundaries of 9am and 5pm, earlier on Fridays (because I am a kind boss who likes to enjoy life!); and now that I am getting up at 5am, I can add the creative cherry on the top in the thick peace of the early morning.
I've also got a productivity diary in which I note down anything that really needs doing and an online calendar for deadlines and scheduling but then the rest is music - I surrender to the "wave of enthusiasm" and wait to be spurred! I am lead from my centre, and find that if I cultivate peace (the foundation of order) then I can listen to my inner guidance to know what the next step is, and "keep in step with the spirit" (the unforced rhythms of grace).
Enthusiasm - 17th century (in enthusiasm (sense 2)): from
French enthousiasme, or via late Latin from Greek enthousiasmos, from
enthous ‘possessed by a god, inspired’ (based on theos ‘god’).
I am intentionally surrendering my life and my work to the wise guidance of "my soul" and waiting to see and hear the signs. I also make sure that I get out into nature enough to maintain this connection, especially when I feel overwhelmed.
Life then becomes an joyful adventure, which I am excited to get up early for rather than a hard slog - the souldier rather than the soldier!
